Hutan Synergy’s mission is to develop and implement forestry-based carbon projects that support ecosystem restoration, protect biodiversity, and improve the well-being of local communities. Climate

Peat and mangrove forests in Southeast Asia are crucial for climate regulation. Peat forests, rich in carbon, act as vital carbon sinks, mitigating climate change. Mangrove forests effectively sequester carbon, essential in combating climate change. These ecosystems not only store carbon but also offer resilience against rising sea levels and extreme weather, aiding climate adaptation. Prioritizing their preservation and restoration is key to global climate action and ecosystem preservation.

Community

We recognize that local communities are key stakeholders in forest conservation and management. Our community-based approach ensures that local people are involved in decision-making and benefit from the conservation and restoration of forests. Through meaningful engagement and collaboration, we strive to create opportunities for local communities to benefit from the conservation of forests, thereby enhancing their well-being and livelihoods.
